SATURDAY MORNINGS: 11:20-12:20 with 45 minutes of instruction by certified instructors and 15 minutes of practice time. Registration forms are available at the front desk of the arena, online or by email. Five sessions will be offered.

WEDSNESDAY, NOVEMBER 19TH: Garrison Players, Dover’s community theatre group, in collaboration with Dover High School, will hold adult auditions for their joint production of “Footloose” on Wednesday, November 19 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday, November 23 from 1-3 p.m. at the Arts Center, Route 4 in Rollinsford.
Auditioners should prepare an upbeat song and bring their sheet music. An accompanist will be available and pre-recorded music will not be allowed. Comfortable clothing is suggested, as there will be some light choreographed movement. Youth roles will be filled by Dover High students.

“Footloose” will be directed by Marjorie Mersereau and staged at Dover High School March 5-8, 2009.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 22ND: Artists of Salmon Falls Mills OPEN STUDIO DAYS
On November 22nd and 23rd, over 100 Salmon Falls Mill artists and guest artists invite the public to their semi-annual Open Studios event. Woodworkers, printmakers, performers and sculptors open their studios to the public.
Visitors young and old can admire and purchase artwork, clothing, jewelry,furniture, and other fine art while enjoying live music and performances in both mill buildings. Artists invite visitors to get involved in their art, including a holiday portrait studio with Jeremy Heflin Photography, the World’s Largest
Recycled Bag Ball with Elizabeth Doherty, and Children’s Art Stations throughout the mills. Over 20 local artisans from Rollinsford's Front Street Market will also exhibit in the Upper Mill annex and Lower Mill lobby with vintage fabric bags,handmade wooden toys, painted artwear, photography, jewelry, and other unique items. Guests can also purchase raffle tickets or donate non-perishables toward Thanksgiving baskets for local families. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
items will be available in both mills. The mills are located in Rollinsford NH, just 5 minutes north of Dover NH, and are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. the weekend before Thanksgiving. Parking is available in the Upper Mill lot and at the

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6TH:HOLIDAY CRAFT FAIR - The 15th Annual Holiday Craft Fair on Saturday, December 6th sponsored by the Somersworth Festival Association will be held from 9am to 3pm at Somersworth High School. This very well attended fair is one of the largest craft fairs in the area. The fair features over 150 of the best crafters in all of NH, Maine and even from Mass. This is a good time to do your holiday shopping and to buy your Christmas decorations. Plenty of parking and food will be served by the Board members of the Festival Association.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 22ND: The Boscawen Old Home Day Committee will be hosting their 3rd Annual Holiday Craft Fair from 9 AM to 3 PM at the Merrimack Valley High School in Penacook. About 100 local crafters will be there with beautiful crafts & holiday gift ideas. We will also have Make-it & Take-it crafts, a yummy cookie walk, pictures with Santa, 50/50 raffle $$ & raffle table with prizes, crafts & gift certificates. We have plenty of FREE parking & the admission is FREE as well. We will also have food & beverages for sale to feed our hungry shoppers! The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce and Federal Savings Bank present an informative breakfast forum, “American Philanthropy: Past, Present, and Future” on Tuesday, November 18 at 7:30 a.m. at the Cochecho Country Club, 145 Gulf Road in Dover. Presenter is Jerry Marx, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Social Work at UNH. He has written the textbook, “Social Welfare: The American Partnership” and has published several articles in national journals on American charitable giving and volunteerism. Cost for the forum is $10 for Chamber members and $15 for non-members, and includes breakfast. Because of limited seating, advanced registration is required. "Love, Sex & the I.R.S.”, a wild comedy with twists of fate, sight gags, mistaken identities written by William Van Zandt and Jane Milmore and directed by Leo Lunser, requires 3 women and 5 men, aged 20’s to 60’s. Show dates are May 1-10, 2009.People can audition for one or both shows and should be prepared to cold read from the script

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15TH: Our Lady of the Holy Rosary is holding their 15th Annual Holiday Fair, on SAturday, November 15,2008 on the parish grounds located at 189 North Main Street in Rochester. Doors open at 9:00am. The day begins with a continental breakfast. The event features cash raffles, penny sale, thematic food baskets, holiday crafts, knits, baskets of cheer, jewelry, along with homemade baked goods and candy,books, our famous White Elephant Table. There is also a children's corner, tech corner with gadgets of all kinds. Food and drinks are available and there will be a ham and bean supper at 5:00pm.
